FAQs

  • Our next event is June 13-14, 2026 in Florence, SC.

  • The Challenge Event—also known as Cullex—is a special culminating experience held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, after the day’s classes have ended. This immersive evening event puts the skills you’ve learned during classes on Friday (June 12) and Saturday (June 13) into action, helping you understand how they apply in real-world scenarios.

Participation is limited to just 16 spots, and the additional $5 fee helps us cover extended hours and special logistics involved in running this unique, hands-on event.

Bonus: Signing up for the Challenge Event also grants you access to Friday’s classes from 1–6 PM, giving you even more time to learn and prepare.

  • Yes! We’ll have a limited quantity of Carolina Capabilities Co-op (CCC) t-shirts available for purchase at the event. Plus, several of our amazing vendors and instructor will be selling their own gear, products, and merchandise, so be sure to bring a little extra cash or card to support them!

  • We’d love to welcome more small businesses and makers to join us! There’s room at the table for everyone to grow, and we want to help you be seen. We are, however, intentional about keeping our vendor lineup aligned with the spirit of the event—so please don’t take it personally if we’re selective in our approvals.

Note: We do not allow gun sales or firearm vendors at this event.

If your business fits our mission and you’d like to set up a table to sell merchandise, simply fill out the contact form and send us a message. Instead of a vendor fee, we ask for a donation to our prize/raffle table to support the event.

  • We’re always grateful for sponsors who want to support this community-driven event! Sponsorship helps us keep the experience accessible, educational, and memorable for all.

To get involved, head to our Sponsor tab and fill out the contact form. We offer multiple sponsorship tiers, each with benefits like:

    • Social media recognition

    • Public shoutouts during the event

    • Free event tickets (based on tier)

    • Logo placement and visibility opportunities

We welcome both monetary donations and items for our raffle or prize table. Every contribution helps us build a better, more connected event.

  • Absolutely—we’re always looking for great help! If you’re interested in volunteering, please fill out the contact form to send us a message.

All volunteers receive free access to the community event and classes as a thank-you for their time and support. It’s a great way to get involved, learn, and connect!

  • Yes! We provide lunch and drinks on both Saturday and Sunday of the event. One day will feature Firehouse Subs, and the other day we’ll be serving pizza—subject to change, of course. Come hungry and ready to connect!

  • Absolutely—kids are welcome! However, please keep in mind that our instructors and classes are not filtered for age. While we aim to maintain a professional environment, some topics or language may not be kid-friendly.

Children must be under your direct supervision at all times and should not be left in classrooms or allowed to roam between sessions. If a child is causing a disruption, instructors have the right to ask the parent and child to step out in order to respect the learning experience of all attendees.

If you plan to participate in the Challenge Event, please arrange childcare in advance, as there is no designated space for children during that portion of the weekend.

  • No recordings are allowed during classes. We kindly ask that you respect our instructors and do not film or record any part of their sessions. Note-taking is absolutely encouraged!

If a friend couldn’t attend, remind them there’s always next year. Anyone caught recording will be asked to leave the event.

Photos are allowed, but please be mindful and respectful of others’ privacy—always ask before photographing someone directly.

  • This event will have both a photographer and videographer capturing content for future promotional use. By purchasing a ticket and attending, you acknowledge and consent to possibly being photographed or recorded during the event.

Unfortunately, we do not offer an opt-out option, and masks or face coverings are not permitted as a way to obscure identity. We strive to capture the spirit of the event while being respectful, but attendance implies consent to be part of our media coverage.

  • Yes, refunds are available if you cancel at least 30 days before the event. The last day to request a refund is May 13, 2026. Cancellations made after that date are non-refundable.
